Designed as a celebration of Ferrari's 40th anniversary, the F40 is one of the most iconic supercars of all time.
The Ferrari F40 was introduced in 1987 to mark Ferrari's 40th anniversary. It was the last Ferrari car approved by Enzo Ferrari himself before his death in 1988. The F40 was a product of Ferrariās commitment to creating a road-going race car, with lightweight materials, a turbocharged engine, and a design that was both functional and stunning.
Every single Ferrari F40 left the factory in red. In fact there was only two options to choose from when speccing your F40. You had the decision between seatbelts and race harnesses and the decision between wind downs and racing windows. It came stock with strings for door handles, no cupholders or radio and in the words of jeremy clarkson "The interior was held together with what look like green bathroom sealant". None of that mattered though, because you had that glorious twin turbo V8 behind you, and you were driving the greatest supercar ever built.
